Frank is a dual German/American citizen. He was born and raised in Germany and spent most of his life in Berlin. He studied drama at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and obtained his MA in Acting in Berlin. 

His deep understanding of written and spoken language has also led him to teaching German at a number of universities in the United States and in Canada.

Frank has written and/or starred in a number of award-winning international films, theater and stage productions. 

As a singer/songwriter/guitar player he is currently working on an EP of new original songs. His original punk rock Kabarett act "Die Korrekten“ performed throughout Germany as did his bands "chansonpunk©", "toxics" and "Die Emilys". Frank’s short fiction has been published in Europe.

In addition, Frank was invited numerous times to the MSNBC studios at Rockefeller Plaza, Manhattan, to simultaneously translate former German Chancellor Angela Merkel during high-profile world events.
