Currently starring in "Club Zero" nominated for the Palme d'Or in competition at the Cannes International Film Festival, May 2023

Isabel Lamers was born in Manila (Philippines) and moved to Germany at the age of 10. As her father is German, she speaks fluent German. She studied acting at the Identity School of Acting in London and trained in improvisation with the Groundlings in LA. Her latest projects are "Club Zero", nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, and the sci-fi short film "A Dozen Suns", nominated at the Cannes Short Film Festival. The feature film thriller "The God Helmet" in which Isabel plays a leading role will be broadcast this year. Isabel is a licensed stunt fighter and coordinator, and an avid outdoor rock climber. She is also a podcaster for Schauspielheld*innen, the podcast of the German Acting Association. She is fluent in four languages.
