It would be a lie to say that I always wanted to become an actress. As a little Vietnamese girl, there were no girls in German TV who looked like me. That’s the reason why I never saw myself in this field. Nevertheless, I couldn’t suppress my creative side. I really took a liking to singing which was noticed by my mother, so she motivated me to do five years of singing lessons and seven years of dancing and artistic training. My love for dancing taught me what it means to be on stage, to perform on stage. On stage, I feel at ease. The first time I acted for camera was in summer 2020, for renowned series DRUCK in the main role Kieu My. This exciting and challenging experience showed me something important: I want to become this person in German television I desperately needed when I was a little girl. This was the decisive point. Since then, I am proud to say: I want to be an actress.
