Niklas Roling finished his musical theatre and vocal pedagogy studies at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück. There he has already performed in productions such as "Do it for love", a musical by Chris Thompson, "Die Kleinbürgerhochzeit", as the father of the bride, and "Das Geheimnis des Edwin Drood", as a member of the ensemble.
In addition to his musical theatre studies, he worked as 2nd assistant director and set runner on productions such as "WAPO Berlin" and "Para Wir sind King". He also appeared in front of the camera as a dancer for a Ferrero Rocher commercial and as carer Mauritz in Tatort Köln.
In October 2022, Niklas played the male lead in the first German production of "SOHO CINDERS".
In spring 2023, thanks to a scholarship from the KITABU Foundation, he also studied dance for 4 months at the Broadway Dance Center in New York with a focus on tap and theatre dance and singing with Tyley Ross (NYU-Tisch School of the Arts).
After his return from the USA, he was engaged at the Semperoper Dresden in the musical Blues Brothers. Since October 2023, Niklas can be seen alongside Pia Douwes in the role of Young Buddy in the musical "Follies" at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden.
From May to September 2024, he can also be seen at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg as the giraffe "Melman" in the family musical Madagascar, as well as in the musical Mamma Mia and 3 Musketeers.
