Anne Appelo graduated at the  Conservatorium (Music theater) of the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg. In 2016 she toured all big theaters in The Netherlands with the musical Hair van Stage Entertainment. In 2017 she was asked as understudy of Romy Monteiro in the musical The Bodyguard in the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht. After the Bodyguard she played for two years in the Afas Circustheater as Sarabi and understudy Nala in Disney’s musical The Lion King (Stage Entertainment).

In the beginning of 2018 Anne became as presenter the new face of Kinderen voor Kinderen (BNNVARA). There she presents diverse shows and television programs like het Okidopodium, Kinderen voor Kinderen Pakt uit! , Kinderen voor kinderen Afas live!, Kinderen voor kinderen 40 jaar live in Ahoy! Broadcasted on NPO Zapp.

Anne is an enthusiastic and involved presenter who has a big heart for the self development of children and grown ups. Since 2018 Anne is also active as ambassador for the charity; Jantje Beton. Together with patroness H.K.H prinses Beatrix  Anne hardens herself for for more play opportunity and play area for children and young people in  vulnerable (play) situations in The Netherlands and the Netherlands Antilles
