Gordon is best known for playing Omar in My Beautiful Laundrette, opposite Daniel Day Lewis. Venus, the feature in which Gordon plays Papaji, is currently premiering in Canada and the US and comes to London and Europe this year. He recently played Papa in the stage version of My Beautiful Laundrette, directed by Nikolai Foster for The Curve Theatre, Leicester before touring.
