Juliette BLANCHE is an actress, writer and director. 
She directed Love Me Tender, for which she won several festival selections and some fifteen awards. The film is broadcast on OCS and E-cinema. She won the SACD-Beaumarchais grant for the short film Rose Orage, and is working on two other short films, Les Requins d'Eden and A-Men (ta prière). 
She began writing her first novel at Ateliers Gallimard, under the guidance of Monica Sabolo. She writes and performs Les Escargots sans leur coquille font la grimace, a one-woman play for the stage, scheduled for autumn 2023 at the Lavoir Moderne Parisien, directed by Laurent Couraud. A repeat performance of the show is already scheduled for February 7, 2024 in the same theater.
In 2022, with her feature-length project Velvet chante vrai, she joins the "Chemin Faisant-Passerelles Occitanie" writing residency alongside Raphaëlle Desplechin, and this year "La Maison Bleue de Contis", then Brive, for the "Livre au ciné" program directed by Maguy Cisterne. The project was successively presented at Cinémed, the Créteil International Women's Film Festival and is currently being read by several productions.
