The pizza maker who became an actor
 
Gun in hand facing Simon Abkarian in "The Beautiful Guys", a crook in bad shape in "La French" face to face with Oscar winner Jean Dujardin, Marco Panzani of Italian-Corsican origin, you can't make it up, may not be much of a pasta eater, but he did earn his living for years as a pizza maker!!
 
Even today he himself cannot believe such a trajectory! His journey is atypical and disconcerting, in an improbable style, it’s hard to do better…. It must be said that with his mafioso face, he has an ideal physique for genre films branded Martin Scorcèse.
 
In his apartment in Buttes Chaumont, coffee enjoyed at a bar encouraging confidence, Marco reveals himself step by step. This child from the South, born in Le Canet, does not spill the beans so easily. And he is far from having lost his strong Marseille accent.
 
Marco stopped studying at 16 and worked directly in his parents' pizzeria for his pocket money. Without baggage, as he himself says, he takes on a whole bunch of odd jobs.
 
“I’ve always worked, quite a bit of temporary work, one day here, the other there,” he explains, “A fixed position didn’t interest me. I couldn’t see myself doing the same thing all my life, being a prisoner of credit, children to raise, etc..”
This freedom is actually what suits him. The sequel will confirm it. He did his Tanguy until he was 27. “But I was independent, my parents always left me free.”
 
Continuing on, he bought a truck in the early 90s and went to sell his pizzas. “At that time I wanted to earn a lot of money. Today I don’t care a bit as long as I’m doing what I love.”
