My name is Valérie Leroy, and I'm an actress as well as a director and screenwriter. I am represented by Ivan de Labbey at VMA. You saw me in "Les Bleus", "Merci les enfants vont bien" and a German film "Auf der suche" by Jan Krüger, which was screened at the Berlin Film Festival. I've played a lot of seemingly fragile characters who rebel by killing their pimp or harassing their rapist. And it's true that I really like to play women who are cerebral and solitary: scientists, inventors, lawyer etc.  But I'm also attracted to characters who are more troubled or even villainous because that's really fun for me. I played a female politician at the Théâtre de la Tempête and I really enjoyed it !
