Two actors (m) required for first feature to be filmed in Berlin (July 2016).
"Sodom" is written by Mark Wilshin and leads us into the dark heart of gay identity, from the perspective of WILL, a young slightly confused straight man put to the test. It takes place largely in one apartment over one night, and will be filmed in a lyrical, cine-‐verité style for immediacy, intimacy and authenticity. With only two actors, the film is dependent on these two large roles, and a lot of collaboration, improvisation and immersion will be required.
WILL is in Berlin for the weekend, celebrating his stag-do with friends. Handcuffed to a lamppost, he meets MICHAEL, who helps him get free. There's a flat to remove the handcuffs and get WILL some clothes, they have sex. WILL is keen to leave, but can't bring himself to. And so they spend a night together drinking and talking. And maybe even falling in love.
